NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL FOOTPATHS 2A & 60 WROUGHTON AND 630  SWINDON ORDER 2015

On 16 September 2015 Swindon Borough Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath running from OS grid reference SU14103 82687 at East Wichel Way, in the parish of Wroughton, via SU14129 82423 and SU14409 82373, to OS grid reference SU14521 82421 south of Mattocks Path, East Wichel, Swindon, to a line running from OS grid reference SU14103 82687 at East Wichel Way, in the parish of Wroughton, via SU14231 82682 and SU14322 82464 to OS grid reference SU14523 82441 at Rylane, East Wichel, Swindon.

A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at The One Stop Shop, Beckhampton Street, Swindon from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £15.00.

The order comes into force on 28 October 2015, but if a person aggrieved by the order wishes to question its validity, or that of any provision contained within it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, that person may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 42 days of the date of this notice make an application to the High Court.
