Temporary Closure of Hook Street
SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (HOOK STREET, SWINDON)
(SWINDON JLS EVENT)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) ORDER 2011
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council in pursuance of the provisions of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intends to make an Order the effect of which will be a temporary closure of;
Hook Street
From its junction with Bess Road up to the Borough Boundary.
Access to properties on the closed section of road will be maintained.
Alternative Route – via Hook Street, Whitehill Way, Great Western Way, Swindon Road to Coped Roundabout, turn right to the un-named road to Hook up to the junction with Hook Street and Hook Street.
The Order is required to facilitate the JLS event at Lydiard Park on the Saturday 18th June 2011 and will in operation from 7am to midnight.
