SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (KINGSDOWN ROAD, SWINDON) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2011 and SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (KINGSDOWN ROAD, SWINDON) (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make the above Orders under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:

The introduction of 30 mph Speed Limit on the following length of road:

Kingsdown Road
From a point 400 metres north east of its junction with Hyde Road for a distance of 125.4 metres in a north easterly direction.

A 40 mph Speed Limit will apply on the follow length of road:

Kingsdown Road
From a point 525.4 metres north east of its junction with Hyde Road to a point 57.7 metres west of its junction with the A361 Highworth Road.

The revocation of the Borough of Swindon (40 mph Speed Limit) (No. 1) Order 1971 Amendment Order (No. 1) 2003.

A copy of the relevant documents for the Orders may be inspected at Customer Services, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours and online on www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation from 17 June 2011 to 8 July 2011.

Objections to the proposed Orders stating and the grounds of the objection should be made in writing to reach the undersigned, quoting reference (za/kingsdown road/30+40mph) by no later than 8 July 2011.
