PEDESTRIAN (TOUCAN) CROSSING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, of the installation of the Pedestrian Crossing at the following roads:

Highworth Road (A361) From a point of 113.5 metres in a south easterly of the Honda North Roundabout

Kingsdown Road From a point of 13.9 metres south east of the vehicle access of No. 70 Kingsdown Road

The purpose of the crossing is for improving the amenities of the area and in the interest of public health and safety.

A copy of this public notice and plan may be inspected at Customer Services, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon, during opening hours and online www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation.

Any person wishing to comment on the pedestrian crossings should do so in writing to the undersigned quoting reference (ZA/Triangle Site/Crossings) by no later than 15 July 2011.
