THE SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, SWINDON) (RESERVED BUS LANE) ORDER 2010 Amendment Order No (1) 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make the above Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the affect of which will be:

1. To allow marked vehicles used by the NHS Doctor ‘out of hours’ service to use bus lanes.

2. The length of road listed below will be reserved as a bus lane between the hours of 7am to 7pm of each day; 7 days a week and which is permitted to be used by motorcycles, pedal cycles, hackney carriages and authorised vehicles. Highworth Road Eastbound carriageway From the junction of Honda North Roundabout for a distance of 226.7 metres in a southerly direction.

A copy of the draft Order, plan and reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours and online on www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation from 24th June to 15th July 2011.

Objections to the proposed Order should be made in writing to reach the undersigned stating the grounds of the objection, quoting reference (za/bus lane/highworth road) by no later than 15 July 2011.
