SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL AND WILTSHIRE COUNCIL (HOOK STREET AND HAY LANE) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) ORDER 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council and Wiltshire Council in pursuance of the provisions of Section 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above Order on the 5 July 2011 the effect of which will be:

Road Name: Hay Lane
Restriction:One way traffic from its junction with the road leading to Lydiard Park to Sleaford Close travelling in a southerly direction Alternative Route: via Hay Lane, Grange Park Way, Whitehill Way, Tewkesbury Way and Tregoze Way.
Restriction Times: From 10 am to 10 pm on the 9th July 2011. Road Name: Hook Street
Restriction: One way traffic from its junction with Bess Road travelling in a north-westerly direction for a distance of approx 230 metres to the Operational Borough Boundary
Alternative Route: via Greatfields which leads to Coped Roundabout, Swindon Road (Wootton Bassett), Great Western Way and Whitehill Way.
Restriction Times: From 10 am to 10 pm on the 9th July 2011.

The Order is required to facilitate the safe passage of traffic to the Swindon Big Arts Day at Lydiard Park on the Saturday 9th July 2011.
