SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL

(KINGSDOWN ROAD AND VICKERS ROUNDABOUT, SWINDON)

(50MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 20 July 2011 Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:

The introduction of 50 mph Speed Limit on the following length of road:

Kingsdown Road From the junction with Vickers roundabout for a distance of 57.7 metres in a westerly direction

Vickers Roundabout Circulatory Carriageway

The Order will be operative as of 25 July 2011 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 20 July 2011 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
