SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL SPEED LIMITS
1. SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (A361 HIGHWORTH ROAD AND SUPERMARINE ROUNDABOUT, SWINDON) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2011
2. SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (HIGHWORTH ROAD, HONDA LINK ROAD, HONDA NORTH AND RAT TRAP ROUNDABOUTS, SWINDON) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2011
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 20th July 2011 Swindon Borough Council made the above Orders under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be for:
The introduction of a 40 mph Speed Limit on the following length of roads:
B4006/A361 Highworth Road from a point of 28m south of the Rat Trap roundabout to a point 25.4metres north of its junction with the Honda North Roundabout
A361 Honda link Road from its junction with the Honda North Roundabout to point 41 metres North West of its junction with the A419 Slip Road (Honda South)
Honda North Roundabout Circulatory carriageway
Rat Trap Roundabout Circulatory carriageway
The introduction of a 50 mph Speed Limit on the following length of roads:
A361 Highworth Road From a point 25.4 metres north of its junction with the A361 Honda link Road (Honda North to a point 372metres north east of its junction with Supermarine Road)
Supermarine Roundabout Circulatory carriageway
The following Orders are to be revoked:
The Order will be operative as of 25 July 2011 and a copy of the sealed Orders and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 20 July 2011 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
