Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation)

Order 2010 (Variation No. 7) Order 2011

Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that on the 20 July 2011 Swindon Borough Council made an Order under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be for the: -

Introduction of ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction

Durrington Walk
Both Sides From the junction of Penhill Drive for a distance of 8.8 metres in an easterly direction

Penhill Drive East
From the extended southern kerb line of Durrington Walk for a distance of 19.3 metres in southerly direction.

Revocation of the existing ‘No waiting At Any Time’ restrictions on Corsham Road (South Side) to allow for the introduction of ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ as follow:

Corsham Road South Side
From the extended kerb line of Penhill Drive for a distance of 15.2 metres in an easterly direction
From a point of 26.8 metres of Penhill Drive for a distance of 8.3 metres in an easterly direction
From a point 44.8 metres of Penhill Drive for a distance of 33.7 metres in an easterly direction
From a point of 246.8 metres of Penhill Drive for a distance of 44 metres in an easterly direction

Corsham Road North Side
From the extended kerbline on Penhill Drive from a point of 16.1 metres for a distance 3.7 metres in an easterly direction.
From a point 77.1 metres on Penhill Drive for a distance of 5.5 metres in an easterly direction (to the build out)

(The intention of above is to have No Waiting at Any Time from the extended kerb line of Penhill Drive for a distance of 82.6 metres in an easterly direction.)

East Side From a point 13.5 metres from the extended northern kerb line of Corsham Road for a distance of 5.8 metres in a northerly direction

The Order will be operative as of 25 July 2011 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 20 July 2011 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
