SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (AKERS WAY FOOTWAY)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 20th July 2011 Swindon Borough Council made an Order for the temporary closure of the footway on Akers Way (north side) between the entrance to Cheney Manor Industrial Estate and Nova Hreod school.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

Pedestrians will be diverted to the path on the opposite side of the road.

This Order is required is required to enable contractors to continue to construct an access to the Barratt Homes site.

The Order will come into force on 1st August 2011 and will remain in operation until the 10th July 2012 but it is anticipated works will be completed by the end of October 2011.
