NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council in pursuance of the provisions of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make an Order the effect of which will be:

Temporary Closure of the following lengths of roads:

Pipers Way: the section between Croft Road and Nationwide Roundabout, Alternative Route: via Croft Road, Newport Street, Marlborough Road Start Date & Time:: 04:00 hours on 8 October 2011 End Date & Time: 22:00 hours on 9 October 2011

Pipers Way the section between Nationwide Roundabout and Marlborough Road Alternative Route: via Croft Road, Newport Street and Marlborough Road Start Date & Time:: 9.00 hours on 8 October 2011 End Date & Time:22:00 hours on 9 October 2011

Hill Farm Road, The Hollow (Ham Road to The Ridgeway) Ham Road and Bell Lane (Hill Farm Road to B4192) B4192 (A419 Commonhead Roundabout to Aldbourne) via A419, A346, Aldbourne Road and vice versa. Medbourne Road (B4192 to Badbury Lane) The road from the A346 Plough Hill into Badbury Village The unclassified road from Badbury village due south to the intersection with The Ridgeway. The Order is required to facilitate the Swindon Half Marathon and will be operative on Saturday 8 October 2011 and Sunday 9 October 2011.
