Swindon Borough Council - 20 MPH Speed Limit Order 2011

THE SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (FRESHBROOK WAY, SWINDON) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 17th August 2011 Swindon Borough Council made above Order under Section 84 (1) and (2) of the Road and Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to provide:

THE 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT WILL INCORPORATE THE FOLLOWING ROADS:

Freshbrook Way (Unclassified) Its entire length between its junction with Gainsborough Way and its junction with Beaumaris Road/Stokesay Driveat Pevensey Roundabout Rowton Heath Way (Unclassified) Its entire length between its junction with Gainsborough Way and Beaumaris Road Beaumaris Road (Unclassified) Its entire length between Rowton Heath Way and its junction with Pevensey Way/Freshbrook Way at Pevensey Roundabout Yarmouth Close (Unclassified) Its entire length Corfe Road (Unclassified) Its entire length Rochester Close (Unclassified) Its entire length Cowdrey Close (Unclassified) Its entire length Tintagel Close (Unclassified) Its entire length Bosham Close (Unclassified) Its entire length Westminster Road (Unclassified) Its entire length Clare Walk (Unclassified) Its entire length Castle Dore (Unclassified) Its entire length Kilsyth Close (Unclassified) Its entire length Grosmont Drive (Unclassified) Its entire length Wareham Close (Unclassified) Its entire length Hexham Close (Unclassified) Its entire length Edington Close (Unclassified) Its entire length Bellver (Unclassified) Its entire length Stanford Close (Unclassified) Its entire length

This Order will be operative from the 22nd August 2011 and is a continuation of The Swindon Borough Council (Freshbrook Way) (20 mph Speed Limit) Experimental Order 2009 which has been in force for 18 months from 1st February 2010.

A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected at One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours from 17th August 2011 to 28th September 2011.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from (17th August 2011) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
