THE SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (BLUNSDON HILL GREENWAY) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 15th August 2011 Swindon Borough Council made an Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be for the prohibition of driving on the following road:

Blunsdon Hill Greenway – (formerly known as the northern carriageway of Blunsdon Hill/Ermin Street) from the junction of Lady Lane,Highworth Road & Turnpike Road roundabout to a point 210m east of its junction of the unclassified U3023 known as Mead Lane/Front Lane.

Access to properties adjacent to the greenway will be maintained. The Order will be operative as of 22nd August 2011 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon and online at www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 17th August 2011 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
