SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011

Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that on the 22 August 2011 Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under powers contained in The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), The Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA 2004) and in accordance with the relevant provisions of The Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996. The effect of the Order will be as follow:-

1 To revoke the Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2010 (“the 2010 Order”) and all subsequent variation orders made to the 2010 Order and immediately re-enact those provisions contained in those orders under the above Order without change.

The above Order does not make any changes to the existing on-street restrictions or introduce new restrictions.

The following orders are consolidated by this Order:

The Order will be operative as of 29 August 2011.

A copy of the Order and any relevant documents may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from (22 August 2011) apply to the High Court for this purpose Dave Potter Director of Planning and Transport Wat Tyler House West, Beckhampton Street, Swindon SN1 2JH 26 August 2011
