Gloucester Street - Prohibition of Entry and One-Way
The Swindon Borough Council (Gloucester Street)
(Prohibition of Entry and One-Way) Order 2010
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce the following restriction:
Prohibition of Entry Gloucester Street From its junction with Station Road Direction of Travel permitted Gloucester Street South East to North West From its junction with Milford Street to its junction with Station Road
The introduction of the above will involve the revocation of the present prohibition of entry on Gloucester Street from Milford Street and the revocation of the one way on Gloucester Street from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Milford Street.
The normal exemptions to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in the service of a local authority apply.
The Order will be operative as of 12 September 2011 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 7 September 2011 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
