SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (A346) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2011 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make an Order for temporary closure of the A346 from the junction with New Road, Chiseldon to the borough boundary.

The alternative route is via the A4 from Marlborough to Beckhampton, A4361 via Avebury to Wroughton, B4005 to Chiseldon, New Road to A346 and vice-versa.

This Order is required to enable road surfacing works The Order will come into force on Monday 31st October 2011 and remain in operation for 3 months although it is anticipated works will be completed by Friday 18th November.

The works will take place between the hours of 6am and 5pm.
