Oxford Brookes University has applied to Swindon Borough Council for a new premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 for Oxford Brookes University School of Health & Social Care Ferndale Road Swindon SN2 1HL to conduct the following activities:

(a) sale of alcohol between the hours of 11:00 and 23:00 Monday to Sunday;
(b) provision of regulated entertainment, namely plays, films, live and recorded music, dance and similar entertainment and the provision of facilities for dancing and similar entertainment between the hours of 11:00 and 23:00 Monday to Sunday;
(c) for six extensions per year, of all licensable activities until 01:00 and
(d) (during extensions only) Provision of late night refreshment between the hours of 23:00 and 01:00 Monday to Sunday.

Representations in respect of this application must be made in writing to Swindon Borough Council at the above address by 13 October 2011.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application.

The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for this offence is £5,000.
