Notice is hereby given that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make an Order for the temporary phased closure of the following streets with the suspension of one way orders where necessary to allow access to and from properties.

Phase 1 closure - Mon 28th & Tues 29th November Swindon Road from the junction of North Street to the junction of Warwick Road Cross Street

Phase 2 closure - Wed 30th November & Thurs 1st December Swindon Road from the junction of Warwick Road to the junction of Rolleston Street Prospect Hill from the junction of Rolleston Street to the boundary between nos. 48 and 49 Prospect Hill

Phase 3 closure - Friday 2nd December Rolleston Street Western Street from the junction of Rolleston Street to the boundary between nos. 56 and 57 Western Street

Phase 4 closure - Mon 5th & Tues 6th December Edmund Street

This Order is required to enable carriageway resurfacing.

Signs and traffic management will be in place for the duration of the works and will be managed by the workforce throughout the phases.

The Order will come into force on Monday 28th November 2011 and will remain in operation for 6 months although it is anticipated that works will be completed on the above dates.
