Princes Street & Gordon Road - Pedestrian Crossing (signalised)

SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL

PEDESTRIAN CROSSING (SIGNALISED)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, of the installation of the Pedestrian Crossing on following roads:

Princes Street From a point approx. 5 metres north of the northern extended kerbline of Gordon Road for the full extent of the north and southbound carriageway.

Gordon Road At the junction with Princes Street.

The purpose of the crossing is for improving the amenities of the area and in the interest of public health and safety.

A copy of this public notice and plan may be inspected at Customer Services, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon, during opening hours and online www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation

Any person wishing to comment on the pedestrian crossings should do so in writing to the undersigned quoting reference (ZA/Whalebridge/Crossings) by no later than 5 December 2011.
