THE SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL
(WHALEBRIDGE JUNCTION)
(20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 23rd November 2011 Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:

The introduction of a 20 mph Speed Limit on the following lengths of road:

Corporation Street – From the junction with Fleming Way for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction.

Fleming Way – From a point 49 metres west of the junction with the west kerbline of Spring Gardens to a point 36 metres east of the east kerbline of Islington Street.

Princes Street – From the junction with Fleming Way for a distance of 43 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will be operative as of December 5th 2011 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 23rd November 2011 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
