1.Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2011 (Variation No. 17 ) Order 2011

2. Swindon Borough Council (Whalebridge) (Prohibition of Right hand Turns) Order 2011

Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that on the 23rd November 2011 Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be for the

1 a. lntroduction of Limited waiting 30 minutes, No return 1 hour’ restriction

Princes Street East Side
From a point 11 metres of the southern extended kerb line of Beckhampton Street in a southerly direction for a distance of 31m

The existing clearway restriction will be revoked along this 31 metre length.

1 b) lntroduction of ’Clearway’ restriction

Fleming Way and Princes Street - new junction

At the same time the existing Clearway restriction from the circulatory carriageway of Whalebridge Roundabout will be revoked.

2 a. Introduction of ‘Prohibition of right turn’ restriction

Corporation Street - Into Fleming Way

2 b. lntroduction of ‘Prohibitions of right turn, except for buses and cycles’ restrictions

Fleming Way (East of Princes St)
From the westbound carriageway into Corporation Street in a northerly direction.
Fleming Way (West of Princes St)
From the eastbound carriageway into Princes Street in a southerly direction.
Princes Street (Junction with Fleming Way east)
From the southbound carriageway into Fleming Way in a westerly direction.

The Order will be operative as of December 5th 2011 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 23rd November 2011 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
