Swindon Borough Council Pedestrian (Toucan) Crossing

Notice is hereby given that Swindon Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, of the installation of the Pedestrian Toucan Crossing on the following road:

Highworth Road (A361) From a point approximately 100 metres south of Vickers Roundabout.

The purpose of the crossing is for improving the amenities of the area and in the interest of public health and safety.

A copy of this public notice and plan may be inspected at Customer Services, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon, during opening hours and online www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation

Any person wishing to comment on the pedestrian crossings should do so in writing to the undersigned quoting reference (LM/Highworth Road/Crossing) by no later than 6th January 2012.
