NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the temporary closure of the roads listed below to allow for carriageway resurfacing works.

Road Closed: Highworth Road between the roundabout at Delamere Drive to Ermin Street
Date of Anticipated Closure: 22 and 29 January 2012 between 8 am to 8 pm
Alternative Route: Via Hobley Dr, Swindon Rd, Greenbridge Roundabout, Slade Dr, Oxford Rd, White Hart Roundabout and the A419 or via Highworth Rd, A419, Hyde Rd and Ermin St.

Road Closed: C149 (Wanborough) from Lynchfield to the junction of The Marsh
Date of Anticipated Closure: 13 to 22 February 2012
Alternative Route: Via The Marsh, Burycroft, High St (Wanborough), C149 and Church Rd

Road Closed: Northern Road from the roundabout junction with Besssemer Road East and Westbrook Road to its junction with Churchward Avenue
Date of Anticipated Closure: 20 to 24 February between 8am to 5pm.
Alternative Route: Via Ferndale Rd, Cheney Manor Rd, Vicarage Rd and Beech Ave and vice versa.

Road Closed: Moredon Road from Cheney Manor Road to Bourne Road
Date of Anticipated Closure: 19, 20, 26 and 27 February between 9am to 6 pm.
Alternative Route: Via Moredon Rd, Purton Rd, Akers Way and Cheney Manor Rd

Road Closed: Clarence Street
Date of Anticipated Closure: 27 and 28 February
Alternative Route: Via Fleming Way, Magic Roundabout, Drove Rd, and Groundwell Rd or via Princes St, Magic Roundabout, Drove Rd and Groundwell Rd.

Road Closed: Dorcan Way between Edison Roundabout and Snodshill roundabout
Date of Anticipated Closure: 5 to 9 March working overnight from 8pm to 6 am.
Alternative Route: Via Eldene Dr

Road Closed: Kingshill Road from 50 metres from its junction with Clifton Road to Bath Road Date of Anticipated Closure: 5 to 9 March working overnight from 8pm to 6 am
Alternative Route Via Victoria Rd, Crombey St, Curtis Rd, Cambria Bridge Rd, Faringdon Rd, and Westcott Place.

Road Closed: Kingshill Road/Bath Road Roundabout
Date of Anticipated Closure: 4 and 11 March
Alternative Route: Via the same diversion for Kingshill Rd Closure or via Westcott Place, Faringdon Rd, Farnsby St, Commercial Rd, Princes St, Clarence, St and Victoria Rd or via Okus Rd, The Mall, Commonweal Rd and Goddard Ave.

The Order will come into force on the 22 January 2012 for 12 months. It is anticipated works will take place on the above dates however, resurfacing works are weather permitting and any changes in dates will be notified on site.
