Swindon Borough Council (Rodbourne Road and Old Vicarage Lane) (temporary closure) Order 2012 and Swindon Borough Council (Dixon Street and Stafford Street) (temporary highway closure) Order 2012

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council intend to make Orders under Section 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which temporarily affect the roads listed below to allow for works on the highway.

Road affected: Rodbourne Road (adjacent to Outlet Village)
Date of Anticipated Closure: 6 and 7 February overnight from 11.45 pm to 5 am.
Alternative Route: Via Rodbourne Rd, Kemble Dr, Great Western Way, Wootton Bassett Rd, Westcott Place, Park Lane and vice versa.

Road affected: Rodbourne Road (Bruce Street Bridges)
Date of Anticipated Closure: 9 and 10 February overnight 10 pm to 6 am
Alternative Route: Same as above.

Road affected: Old Vicarage Lane
Date of Anticipated Closure: 7 and 8 February overnight from 10pm to 6 am.
Alternative Route: Via Old Vicarage Lane, Highworth Rd, Thornhill Rd, A420 and vice versa.

Road affected: Dixon Street/Stafford Street (steps)
Date of Anticipated Closure: From 6 February for up to 6 weeks.
Alternative Route: Via Raggett Street

The Order will come into force on the 1 February for 12 months. It is anticipated works will take place on the above dates and any changes in dates will be notified on site.
