FOOTPATHS 276, 278, 279, 290, 375, 647, 720, 772 & 773
SWINDON ORDER 2011
On 21 December 2011 Swindon Borough Council confirmed the above order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to extinguish parts of Footpaths 276, 647, 772 and 773, on Shaw Ridge Linear Park near Cleves Close, Grange Park; parts of Footpaths 278 and 290, and the full length of Footpath 279, on Shaw Ridge Linear Park near The Bramptons, Shaw; and parts of Footpaths 375 and 720 at Toothill Park, all in the unparished area of Swindon. A copy of the order as confirmed and the order maps may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, between 8.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and maps, costing £15.00, may be purchased there.

The order comes into force on 24 February 2012, but if a person aggrieved by the order wishes to question its validity, or that of any provision contained within it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, that person may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 42 days of the date of this notice make an application to the High Court.
