SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (DORCAN WAY, SWINDON)
(30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2012

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council propose to make the above Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce a 30mph on the roundabouts including their entry/exit points on Dorcan Way from Piccadilly Roundabout at Covingham to Snodshill Roundabout at Eldene/Liden.

The remaining sections of Dorcan Way to remain 40 mph. SECTIONS OF DORCAN WAY TO BE 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT

Piccadilly Roundabout, mini roundabout at Kingfisher Drive, mini roundabout at The Drive, mini roundabout at Hindle Way, Edison Roundabout and Snodshill Roundabout.

Approximately a length of 25 metres on Dorcan Way from the entry/exit points in both directions of each of the above roundabouts.

The reasons for this order is part of the implementation of 30mph speed limit on all the roundabouts on Dorcan Way.

A copy of the relevant documents for the Orders may be inspected at Customer Services, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours from 3 to 23 February 2012.

Objections to the proposed Orders stating and the grounds of the objection should be made in writing to reach the undersigned, quoting the reference of the Orders (za/dorcan way/30mph) by no later than 23 February 2012.
