NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under Section 9 and 10 (2) of the Road and Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of:

20 MPH Speed Limit To Incorporate The Following Roads:

Springfield Road For its entire length
Westlecot Road For its entire length
Mill Lane From its junction with Westlecot Rd to a point 10 metres west of the extended kerbline at its junction with Field Rise.

The Order will be operative from 13 February 2012.

A copy of the Order and relevant documents for making the Order may be inspected at One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon during normal opening hours and online on www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation

The Experimental Order has been made to allow for an assessment of the 20mph before a decision is taken to make it permanent.

Any person wishing to make representations whether to object or support the Order before it is made permanent must do so in writing quoting the reference (TRO/Experimental/Okus 20mph) specifying the grounds on which they are made within 6 months of this experimental Order coming into force or if the Order is subsequently varied or modified within 6 months of the variation or modification coming into force.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on thegrounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 1 February 2012 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
