Swindon Borough Council - Footpath 7 in the parish of Wroughton,

On 20th June 2012 Swindon Borough Council confirmed the above order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to extinguish the length of Footpath 7 in the parish of Wroughton, commencing at OS grid reference SU41205 18135 at its junction with Bridleway 13, approximately 370 metres south of Berrywood Farm, and leading eastsoutheast for approximately 30 metres to OS grid reference SU41208 18134, approximately 650 metres west-southwest of Elcombe House Farm.

A copy of the order and the order map may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, between 8.30am and 6pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map, costing £15.00, may be purchased there.

The order comes into force on 10 August 2012, but if a person aggrieved by the order wishes to question its validity, or that of any provision contained within it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, that person may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 42 days of the date of this notice make an application to the High Court.
