NOTICE IS HEREBYGIVEN that Swindon Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, propose to implement a puffin crossing on Dorcan Way near Nyland Road in place of the existing pedestrian refuge.

The objective of the pedestrian crossing it to improve the existing pedestrian refuge crossing facility identified during the 2011/12 Accident Reduction Engineering Safety Scheme Review to provide a safe link to facilities.

A copy of this public notice and plan may be inspected at the One-Stop-Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours and online at www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation.

Any person wishing to comment on the proposal outlined above should do so in writing to the undersigned quoting reference (ZA/Dorcan Way/Puffin) by no later than 30th November 2012.
