Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and
Parking Places Consolidation Order) 2011 (Variation No. 3) Order 2012
Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be for the: -
Introduction of No Waiting at Any Time
Draycot Road
West Side - from the giveway line on the roundabout at the northern end of Draycot Road to a point approx. 15 metres south of the junction with Norris Close. East Side - from the giveway line on the roundabout at the western end of New Road to a point approx. 69 metres south of John Alder Close.
New Road
North Side - from the giveway line on the roundabout at the southern end of Hodson Road for a distance of approx. 35.5 metres in an easterly direction.
South Side - from the giveway line on the roundabout at the western end of New Road for a distance of approx. 35 metres in an easterly direction.
Hodson Road
West Side - from the giveway line on the roundabout at the northern end of Draycot Road for a distance of 36.0 metres in a northerly direction.
East Side - from the giveway line on the roundabout at the southern end of Hodson Road for a distance of approx. 29 metres in a northerly direction.
Carisbrook Terrace - from the junction with Draycot Road
North Side - for a distance of approx. 23 metres. South Side - for a distance of approx. 21 metres.
Norris Close - from the junction with Draycot Road
North Side - for a distance of approx. 13 metres. South Side - for a distance of approx. 14 metres.
John Alder Close - from the junction with Draycot Road
North Side - for a distance of approx.10 metres. South side - for a distance of approx.10 metres.
Introduction of Bus Clearway
Draycot Road
West Side - from a point 14 metres north of the junction with Norris Close for a distance of 13.0 metres in a northerly direction.
East Side - from a point 14.7 metres south of the junction with John Alder Close for a distance of 13.0 metres in a southerly direction.
A copy of the draft order, relevant plans and Statement of Reasons for the proposal may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, and online at www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation
Objections or representations to the proposed Order should be made in writing to reach the undersigned, quoting reference (LM/tro/Draycot Road) by no later than 14th December 2012.
