NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under Section 84 (1) and (2) of the Road and Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect is to implement a 20 mph speed limit zone which incorporates the entire lengths of Portland Avenue, Curie Avenue, Pasteur Drive, Seacole Crescent, Withering Road and Bacon Close.

The Order will be operative as of 10 December 2012 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours from 6 December 2012 to 17 January 2013.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 5 December 2012 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
