Swindon Borough Council (Waiting & Loading Restrictions & Parking Places Consolidation)
Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2011 (Variation No.7) Order 2012
Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that on the 13 March 2013 Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be as follows:
Wood Street - Eastern End (South Side)
The revision of the existing 'Pay and Display parking' and 'No Waiting At Any Time' restriction to 'No Waiting 6pm 9am' and 'Pay & Display Maximum Waiting 1 Hour Mon-Sat 9am-6pm No Return Within 1 Hour' from outside No's 15/17 to outside No's 4/5,'No Waiting At Any Time' from outside No's 4/5 for a distance of 5.6 metres in an easterly direction and 'Loading Only Mon-Sat 7am-6pm', 'No Waiting 6pm-7am' outside No 2/3 at the junction with High Street.
Wood Street - Eastern End (North Side)
The revision of the existing 'No Waiting At Any Time' to 'No Waiting At Any Time Except Taxis 6pm-9am' from the boundary of No's 6 & 4 Wood Street for a distance of 53.5 metres in a westerly direction.
Wood Street - Western End (North Side)
The revision of the existing 'Pay And Display' parking to 'Disabled Badge Holders Only Maximum Stay 1 hour' outside No's 22 & 24 and 'Pay And Display Parking Mon-Sat 9am-6pm, Maximum Stay 1 Hour And No Return Within 1 Hour' from outside No 22 to No 34.
Albert Street - Southern End (East Side)
The revision of the existing 'No Waiting At Any Time' restriction to 'No Waiting 6pm-7am' and 'Loading Only Mon-Sat 7am-6pm' at the side of No 34 Wood Street for a distance of 16.8 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order will be operative as of 29 March 2013 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 13 March 2013 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
