Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation)
Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2011 (Variation No.8) Order 2012 and (Variation No.9) Order 2012
Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that on the 13 March 2013 Swindon Borough Council made the above Orders under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be as follows:
Swindon Road (Variation No. 8)
To continue with the changes introduced under an experiment scheme which removed waiting restrictions from the junction with Ermin Street and Hobley Drive but to allow for the following lengths of 'no waiting at any time' restriction at the following locations:
North West Side From its junction with Ermin Street to the boundary with Sycamore House.
For a distance of 6.9 metres outside No 4 Swindon Road and for a distance of 6.7 metres outside No 6 Swindon Road.
South East Side From its junction with Ermin Street to the property boundary between No's 1 and 3 Swindon Road.
Both Sides At the junction with Hobley Drive.
Beechcroft Road (Variation No. 9)
The reinstatement of the Limited Waiting (Mon - Sat, 9am - 6pm, I hour, No return within 1 hour) outside No's 3 and 5 Beechcroft Road.
The Orders will be operative as of 18 March 2013 and a copy of the sealed Orders and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours for a period of 6 weeks.
If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from (13 March 2013) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
