NOTICE IS GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make the above Order under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on roads in the Broad Green Zone as follows:

Roads subject to a 20mph Speed Limit

• Alfred Street
• Armstrong Street
• Bathurst Road
• Broad Street
• Elmina Road
• Gambia Street
• Gladstone Street
• Gooch Street
• Graham Street
• Lagos Street
• Medgbury Place
• Medgbury Road
• Ponting Street
• Rosebery Street
• Salisbury Street
• Volta Road
• Station Road - from the junction with Transfer Bridges roundabout to a distance approximately 27 metres east of the junction with Corporation Street.

At the same time the following Order will be revoked The Swindon Borough Council (Ponting Street, Gladstone Street, Salisbury Street and Graham Street, Swindon) (20mph speed limit) Order 2007.

A copy of the relevant documents for the Order may be inspected at Customer Services, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours Monday to Friday or online at www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation.

Objections to the proposed Order stating and the grounds of the objection should be made in writing to reach the undersigned, quoting reference (lm/ broad green/speed limit) by no later than 9th April 2013.
