THE SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (BUS LANES, BUS GATES AND BUS ONLY ROADS) ORDER 2014 AMENDMENT ORDER (No. 2) 2014

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 8 October 2014 Swindon Borough Council under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, The Traffic Management Act 2004 and The Transport Act 2000 and all other enabling powers and in consultation with the Chief Officer of the Police made the above amendment Order. The effect of the Order to correct the name of the road below which is prohibited to other vehicles with the exception of buses

The Bus link which runs from Rodbourne Road to the Penzance Road Bus Lane.

The Swindon Borough Council (Bus Lanes, Bus Gates and Bus Only Roads) Order 2014 introduced the enforcement of bus lanes using camera device. Any contravention to the Order is subject to a penalty charge notice. The Order will be operative from 9 October 2014 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 8 October 2014 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
