SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (OVERNIGHT) A4259 MARLBOROUGH ROAD, SWINDON

This Order has been made to allow contractors to carry out road reconstruction works to take and the effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicles from proceeding on the eastbound and westbound carriageway on A4259 Marlborough Road between Coate Roundabout and Commonhead Roundabout.

Both Carriageways are not to be closed at the same time.

Traffic will be diverted along the A419, A4312 Oxford Road, Drakes Way and A4259 Queens Drive and vice versa.
The Order will come into force on the 5 November 2014 for 6 month however works should take approx. 2 months and will be carried out during the hours of 19:30 to 06:00 hours.
