SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL 20 and 40 MPH SPEED LIMITS

SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, EAST WICHEL) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2014 and SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, SWINDON) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2014 AMENDMENT ORDER (NO. 1) 2014

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Council on the 28th January 2015 made the above Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which are to:

Implement a 20mph Speed Limit on the following length of road in East Wichel;

East Wichel Way from a point 20 metres west of the centre line of Barbrook Road to a point 115 metres west of the centre line of Croft Road

Implement of a 20 mph Speed Limit on the entire lengths of the following roads in East Wichel:

Collard Close, Cornwood Road, Frogden Road, Langdean Road, Fernacre Road,
Ewden Close, Timoney Place, Brentfore Street, Yelland Walk, Mattocks Path, Holne Road,
Rylane, Eyam Road, Leaze Street, Scorhill Lane, Barbrook Road, Cosdon Road,
Arnhill Road, Offerton Road, Nunwick Way, Stalldown Road, Culbone Road, Staldon Road,
Trevello Road, Stonehenge Road, Aviemore Road, Ravensdale, Yardlee Walk,
Trecastle Road, Dunsley Vale

Implement a 40mph on the entire length of Blackhorse Way.

The Order will be operative as of 9th February 2015 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 28
January 2105 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
