SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (FEE PAYING OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2003 EXPERIMENTAL ORDER (No. 1) 2015

Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that on the 22 July 2015 Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to be operative for a duration of 18 months or until it is suspended, the effect of which will be: -

To include Turl Street as a fee paying off street parking place and to be operated as a pay and display short stay town centre car park subject to the following tariffs:

Mon to Sun between 6am to 6pm
Up to 1 hour-£1.20
1 to 2 hours - £2.40
2 to 3 hours - £3.60
3 to 4 hours - £4.80
4 to 6 hours - £8.20
6 to 8 hours - £22.00
Over 8 hours - £38.00

Mon to Sun after 6pm and before 6am
Up to 2 hours - £1.00
Over 2 hours - £2.00

A copy of the Order may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours.

If you would like to make representation to the Order you must do so in writing to reach the undersigned within 6 months of the Order being made.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 22 July 2015 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
