ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 AND 15
NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDER
ASHFORD ROAD, SWINDON
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF RESIDENTS/LIMITED WAITING BAYS
This Order is being introduced to allow contractors to repair collapsed sewer and the effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicles from driving on the section of Ashford Road east of Clifton Street which will prohibit access into Clifton Street and suspension of residents parking bays on the section of the road where works are taking place.
Diversion via Clifton Street, Bath Road and Kent Road.
The limited waiting bays outside St Saviours Church will be suspended to provide parking for residents with parking permits.
The Order will come into force on the 16 August 2015 for 6 months although works should be completed by January 2016.
