Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation)

Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2014 (Variation No. 22 and No. 24) Orders 2015

Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make the above Orders under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to introduce waiting restriction as follows:

Introduction of (Double Yellow Lines), 'No Waiting At Any Time' on the following roads:

Ashworth Road

East Side From the junction with Paddington Drive for a distance of 270 metres in a southerly direction. West Side From the junction with Paddington Drive at 3 locations.

Rivenhall Road

North Side From the roundabout junction with Corton Crescent for a distance of approx. 80 metres in a south easterly direction. South Side From entrance of the surgery for a distance of approx. 75 metres in a south easterly direction

Bess Road

Both Sides From the junction with King Henry Road to the junction with Hook Street.

King Henry Drive
North Side Opposide the junction with Bess Road.

Hook Street

North Side Approx 10 metres at either side of the junction with Bess Road.

Introduction of 'School Keep Clear' restriction which prohibits stopping at entrance markings on Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.


Stokesay Drive

West Side Outside Hazelwood Academy for a distance of approx. 65 metres. East Side Outside the Community Centre for a distance of approx. 30 metres.

A copy of the draft Orders, plans showing the extent of the lengths of the above restrictions and reasons for making the Orders may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon for 21 days from and online at www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation.

Objections or representations to the proposed Order should be made in writing to reach the undersigned, quoting reference (za/ TrO/VO 22 &24) by no later than 11 September 2015.
