THE SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (BUS LANES, BUS GATES AND BUS ONLY ROADS)

THE SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (BUS LANES, BUS GATES AND BUS ONLY ROADS) ORDER 2014 AMENDMENT ORDER (No. 1) 2015 and SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (WAITING AND
LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2014 (VARIATION NO. 25) ORDER 2015

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that Swindon Borough Council under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, The Traffic Management Act 2004 and The Transport Act 2000 and all other enabling powers and in consultation with the Chief Officer of the Police hereby intend to make the above amendment Orders.

The effects of the Orders are to vary the location of the bus gate and to introduce 'no waiting at any time' restriction on Mazurek Way as follow:

Mazurek Way the existing bus gate which is approx. 200 metres in length is to be removed and a new bus gate to be provided 20 metres west of the new service yard access for approx. 36 metres in length in a westerly direction.

Mazurek Way introduction of 'no waiting at any time' restriction on the southern kerbline from the centre of the new service yard access for approx. 95 metres in a westerly direction.

Mazurek Way introduction of 'no waiting at any time' restriction on the northern kerbline to the west of the new service yard access for approx. 85 metres in westerly direction including both turning heads which give a total length of the restriction to be 113 metres.

The Swindon Borough Council (Bus Lanes, Bus Gates and Bus Only Roads) Order 2014 introduced the enforcement of bus lanes using camera device.

The Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2014 regulates the civil enforcement of waiting restrictions.

Any contravention to both Orders are subject to a penalty charge notice.

Copies of the draft Orders, plan and reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours and online on www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation from 11 September 2015 for 21 days.

Objections to the proposed Orders should be made in writing to reach the undersigned stating the grounds of the objection, quoting reference (ZA/TRO/Mazurek Way) by no later than 2 October 2015.
