SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROW FOOTPATH CLOSURES IN SWINDON
EFFECTIVE FROM 9 OCTOBER 2015 FOR 6 MONTHS

This Order is made to allow contractors to lay a new trunk main and the effect is to close the following lengths of footpaths together with the alternative routes:

FP 3 Blunsdon St Andrew (TTRO 2500)
Alternative Route
From the northern end of the closure proceed along FP 3 to B4019. Turn west along B4019 to junction with Turnpike Road. Turn south east along Kingsdown Road to junction with Kingsdown Lane. Turn east along Kingsdown Lane to junction with FP3 and southern end of closure.

FP 6 Stratton St Margaret (TTRO 2497)
Alternative Route
From northern end of closure proceed along FP 6 to Kingsdown Road (B4141). Turn northwest along Kingsdown Road to Highworth Road (A361). Turn south along Highworth Road to FP6 and eastern end of closure.

FP9 Stratton St Margaret (TTRO 2501)
Alternative Route
From western end of closure proceed along FP9 and then FP28 Blunsdon St Andrew to FP4 Blunsdon St Andrew. Turn northwest along FP 4 to junction with Kingsdown Lane. Turn east along Kingsdown Lane (Restricted Byway 7 Blunsdon St Andrew and 8 Stratton St Margaret) to FP 7 Statton St Margaret. Turn south along FP 7 to Kingsdown Road (B4141 ). Turn west along Kingsdown Road to FP 9 and western end of closure.

FP 46 Chiseldon (TTRO 2499)
Alternative Route
From the eastern end of closure proceed along FP46 to junction with FP18 Chiseldon. Turn north along FP 18 and then FP31 Chiseldon to Badbury - Liddington Road. Follow road south west and then south to western end of FP 46 and western end of closure.

FP45 Chiseldon (TTRO 2498)
Alternative Route
From the eastern end of closure proceed along FP45 to junction with FP18 Chiseldon. Turn north along FP 18 and then FP31 Chiseldon to Badbury - Liddington Road. Follow road south west and then south to western end of FP 45 and western end of closure.
