SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, OLD TOWN) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2015

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the Council made the above Order for the:

Introduce a 20mph Speed Limit on the following roads:

St Margarets Road For its entire length from its junction with Croft Road.
Winifred Street From its junction with St Margarets Road
to its junction with Evelyn Street. Evelyn Street From a point 5 metres west of its junction with Marlborough Road to its junction with Hesketh Crescent.
Hesketh Crescent For its entire length from its junction with Evelyn Street
Marlborough Lane From its junction with Evelyn Street to a point 20 metres west of its junction with Marlborough Road, at Pipers Roundabout.

The Order will be operative as of 1 March 2016 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 24 February 2016 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
