SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDER FOR TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

DROVE ROAD, SWINDON
MOREDON ROAD, SWINDON

WHITWORTH ROAD, SWINDON

This Order is being introduced to allow for highway resurfacing works and the effect of the Order is as follow:

TTRO No: 2483
Road Name: Drove Road
Location:  From Cirencester Court to Upham Road.
Main Diversion Routes: Via Groundwell Road, Victoria Road, Devizes Road, Newport Street, High Street and Cricklade Street and vice versa.

TTRO No: 2573
Road Name: Whitworth Road
Location: From the junction with The Broadway to the junction with The Moonrakers.
Main Diversion Routes: Via Cricklade Road, Thamesdown Drive, Lady Lane, Westfield Way, Thames Avenue and vice versa.

TTRO No. 2485
Road Name: Moredon Road
Location: From the Medical Centre to Wickdown Avenue
Main Diversion Routes: Via Cheney Manor Road, Akers Way, Purton Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into force on the 20 March 2016 for 12 months. The closure dates, times and alternative routes will be signed posted at location with works taking place individually and over not more than 5 to 10 days.

The Drove Road and Whitworth Road closures will be phased with signed local diversions in place.

The no entry restriction on the un-named access road leading from Drove Road to the mini roundabout junction with Hunt Street and Belle Vue Road is to be suspended to allow access for residents Belle Vue Road and Hunt Street during the phase which will restrict access on to Drove Road from the mini roundabout.

ACCESS FOR RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES TO BE MAINTAINED.
