NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER
CYCLE TRACKS ACT 1984

CYCLE TRACKS ORDER 2016


The above order was made on 6 July 2016 under Section 3 of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984.

The effect of the order will be to designate as cycle tracks, that length of Footpath 647 Swindon situate at Shaw Ridge Linear Park and commencing at OS grid reference SU 11144 84731; the full length of Footpath 281 Swindon situate at Chandos Close and commencing at OS grid reference SU 11281 84647; the full length of Footpath 282 Swindon between Ascham Road and Freshbrook Way commencing at OS grid reference SU 11388 84360; that length of Footpath 751 Swindon between Whitehill Way and King Henry Drive commencing at OS grid reference SU 11145 83875; that length of Footpath 774 Swindon between King Henry Drive and Hillyard Close commencing at OS grid reference SU 10974 83871; that length of Footpath 775 Swindon situate at Loughborough Close and commencing at OS grid reference SU 10767 83942; that length of Footpath 772 Swindon between Hay Lane and Shaw Ridge Linear Park commencing at OS grid reference SU 11054 84325; and that length of Footpath 782 Swindon between Worsley Road and Whitehill Way commencing at OS grid reference SU 11127 83458.

A copy of the order and the order maps has been placed and may be seen free of charge at The One Stop Shop, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £15.00.

Any representations about, or objections to, the order may be sent in writing to the Rights of Way Officer, Swindon Borough Council, Wat Tyler House West, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH, not later than 9 August 2016.

Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any made are withdrawn, Swindon Borough Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
