NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council intend to Orders under Section 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the temporary closure of the roads listed below to allow for works to be take place.

TTRO 2061 - Dorcan Way between Snodshill and Coate Roundabout, Date of Anticipated Closure: 12 to 16 March 2012. Works taking place overnight from 11pm to 6am daily. Alternative route: Via Dorcan Way, Drakes Way and Queens Drive and vice versa.

TTRO 2064 - King Street Date of Anticipated Closure: 4 March 2012 Alternative route: Not Applicable

TTRO 2050 - Back Lane, Front Lane, Chapel Hill and Hunts Hill, Blunsdon Date of Anticipated Closure: 10 to 20 March 2012 with works taking place between 9 am to 5 pm. Alternative route: For Front Lane via Back Lane, West Hill, Church Way, High Street and Chapel Hill.

TTRO 2058 - Ermin Street at either side of the rail bridge Date of Anticipated Closure: 12 to 15 March 2012 and again on the 12 May to 26 May 2012 Alternative route: Via Oxford Rd, Slade Dr, Greenbridge Roundabout, Swindon Rd, Grange Dr and vice versa.

TTRO 2053 - Whitbourne Avenue between Kingston Road and Royston Road Date of Anticipated Closure:11 March 2012 Alternative route: Via Kingswood Ave, Welcombe Ave, Bridport Rd and vice versa.

TTRO 2060 - Thames Bridge, Castle Eaton (Pedestrian route to be maintained) Date of Anticipated Closure: 19 to 21 March 2012 Alternative route: Via Hannington, Hannington Wick and Kempsford

TTRO 2049 - B4192 Purley Road from The Ridgeway to Albourne Date of Anticipated Closure: 19 to 23 March 2012 Alternative route: Via B4192, A338 to B4000 Ermin Street and the C149 to The Ridgeway and vice versa.

TTRO 2054 - Covingham Subway on Dorcan Way Date of Anticipated Closure: 20 March to 14 April 2012 Alternative route: Via Pedestrian Crossing on Dorcan Way

TTRO 2059 - Bakers Road, Wroughton Date of Anticipated Closure: 30 April 2012 Alternative route: Via Marlborough Rd, Devizes Rd, Priors Hill and vice versa The Orders will come into force on the 1 March 2012 and remain in force for 18 months.

It is anticipated works will take place on the above dates however, resurfacing works are weather permitting and any changes in dates will be notified on site.
