Notice is hereby given Swindon Borough Council intend to vary the parking charges under Section 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows: -

Town Centre and Old Town Long Stay Car Parks:

Cheltenham Street, Harding Street, Spring Gardens, Brunel West (from the barrier level 4 upwards), Wyvern (levels 4, 5), Carlton (levels 2A and above), North Star, Sheppard Street, Queenstown, Bath Road and The Planks

Monday to Sunday from the period that commence between 6 am to 6 pm.

4 to 6 hours Current Charge £6.10, New Charge £6.20
6 to 24 hours Current Charge £7.70, New Charge £7.90

Town Centre Short Stay (Pay on Foot) Car Parks – Brunel North and West and Fleming Way

Monday to Sunday from the period that commence between 6 am to 6 pm

Up to 1 hour Current Charge £1.00, New Charge £1.20

Oasis Leisure Centre Car Park

3 to 4 hours Current Charge £5.50, New Charge £5.70
4 to 5 hours Current Charge £7.70, New Charge £7.90

All other tariffs are to remain unchanged.

The new charges will come into effect on the 1st April 2012.
