Introduction of ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions - Swindon Borough Council

Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation Order) 2011 (Variation No. 2) Order 2012 Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that on 14th March 2012 Swindon Borough Council made an Order under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is the: -

Introduction of ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions

Bridgewater Close
South East Side the entire length including the cul-de-sac end North West Side from the junction of Newcombe Drive for a distance of approx. 12metres.
From a point of approx. 36metres north east of the junction of Newcombe Drive for a distance of 25metres (covering the vehicle accesses) From a point of 78metres north east of the junction of Newcombe Drive for a distance of 26metres

Wedgewood Close South East Side the entire length including the cul-de-sac end North West Side from the cul-de-sac end for a distance of approximately 36.7metres from the bell mouth with the junction of Newcombe Drive for a distance of 20 metres Wyndham Road the entire length - regularisation of lines already on the road

Introduction of Limited Waiting 2 hours Mon- Fri 8am – 6pm No Return within 1 Hour.

Wedgewood Close North West Side from a point 30m south west of the junction of Newcombe Drive for a distance approx. 29metres

Introduction of Load only Bridgewater Close North West Side from a point approx. 12metres north east of the junction of Newcombe Drive for a distance of approx. 24metres From a point approx. 60metres north east of the junction of Newcombe Drive for a distance approx. 17metres

The Order will be operative as of 19th March 2012 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours and online at www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 14th March 2012 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
