Temporary Closure of Footpaths and Bridleway Along Haydon Wick Brook, Swindon
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Act for the temporary closure of sections of footpath and bridleway alongside Haydon Wick brook from alongside the playground at the back of Noyes Close to the junction of the brook with Elstree Way. Some access paths to Haydon Wick brook will also be closed.
Alternative routes will be signed locally.
The order is to carry out construction works for the Haydon Wick brook flood alleviation scheme. It is anticipated the order will come into force on Monday 14th May 2012 for six months.
