Order 2011 (Variation N0.1) Order 2012

Notice is HEREBY GIVEN on the 28 March 2012 Swindon Borough Council made an Order under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be as follow:

Introduction of ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ restriction

Eldene Drive

At the roundabout on Eldene Drive on both sides up to the first junction with Stubsmead.
Adjacent to the second junction with Stubsmead on both sides.
Adjacent to both junctions with Bowleymead on both sides.
Adjacent to both junctions with Islandmead on both sides.
Adjacent to the junction with Elmore on both sides.

For a short distance on the following roads around the following junctions heads on Stubsmead both junctions, Bowleymead both junctions, Islandmead both junctions and Elmore.

A plan is available upon request which shows the extent of the restrictions.

This Order also revokes the ‘no waiting at any time’ on Eldene Drive, Stubsmead, Bowleymead, Islandmead and Elmore and the ‘No Waiting Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 6.30pm’ on Bowleymead from the Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2011.

The Order will be operative as of 2 April 2012 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 28 March 2012 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
